Bulelwa Silwana is a highly experienced Energy and Plant Operations Engineer with over a decade of technical and leadership expertise in the power generation and industrial energy recovery sectors. She currently serves as Plant Manager at Eternity Power, a first-of-its-kind waste heat-to-energy facility in South Africa supplying electricity to Anglo Platinum. Her role spans full operational oversight, regulatory compliance, project execution, and strategic optimization of plant performance. Bulelwa’s professional journey includes leading roles in commissioning, maintenance management, and feasibility studies focused on sustainable energy solutions, particularly Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technology and process heat recovery. She holds a BSc Honours in Energy Studies and a BTech in Chemical Engineering and has completed training as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). Recognized for her dedication to innovation, safety, and operational excellence, Bulelwa is passionate about advancing clean energy adoption and improving industrial energy efficiency. She is also committed to mentoring emerging engineers and advocating for increased representation of women in the energy sector.
