Dr Alina Dini is Head of Energy & Infrastructure at the Electric Vehicle Council, leading national efforts to integrate EVs into Australia’s energy system. A former Founder of Whirl, she has spent two decades advancing clean energy and electrification. Alina’s career began at Tesla, where she helped launch its pioneering zero-emission vehicle credit trading program. She holds a PhD on EV consumer behaviour and a Master’s in Public Policy and Management, blending technical and policy expertise to influence climate and energy strategies. She has led CER programs at Deloitte, Verdia, and in government, and continues to contribute as a not-for-profit founder, director, and company secretary.
