Alan Luc is Systems Lead in Ausgrid’s Distribution System Operator (DSO) strategy team. Alan looks at how Ausgrid's systems need to evolve to support increasing penetration of Consumer and Distributed Energy Resources (CER/DER) and Ausgrid's transition to a DSO. He is working on ​Emergency Backstop and Flexible Exports projects and Project Edith testing dynamic network pricing. His previous work at Ausgrid includes on community batteries, supporting the network Control Room and as a senior Control & Protection engineer responsible for the asset management of secondary systems equipment.
