Southern Cable Group Berhad (SCGB) is one of Malaysia’s leading fully integrated cable manufacturers, with over 30 years of industry experience in delivering reliable, high-performance cable solutions for power, infrastructure, industrial, and utility applications.

Founded in 1993, the Group has grown from a low-voltage cable producer into a publicly listed company on Bursa Malaysia, operating a 35-acre manufacturing complex in Kedah supported by nationwide sales offices and an expanding international footprint across ASEAN, Australia, the Middle East, and selected global markets.

Integrated Manufacturing Excellence

SCGB operates a vertically integrated manufacturing model, covering:

• In-house copper rod (1,500 MT/month) and aluminium rod (1,800 MT/month) production

• Plastic compounding via subsidiary NEXTOL Polymer

• Wooden cable drum manufacturing via DAYA Forwarding

• End-to-end cable production, testing, and delivery

This structure gives customers better cost control, consistent quality, stable supply, and shorter lead times, especially for large-scale or time-critical projects
