Dr. Marek Kubik is an energy industry thought leader and futurist with 15 years of experience.  As director of battery storage at ENOWA, the energy and water company of NEOM, he is helping to realize the world’s first 100% renewable power grid at scale by 2030.  He also holds advisory roles with the UN and the board of Reichmuth & Co.  Prior to NEOM, Marek was a founding member of storage technology leader Fluence, helping it grow from start-up to $4.7b IPO and beyond.  In 2017 he was named an honouree of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for his work helping to accelerate the sustainable energy transition.  He holds masters and doctoral degrees in engineering and received an executive education at Stanford University.
