Phuti Moloto is a sustainability and minerals processing professional with over 14 years of experience across mineralogy, metallurgy, and environmental management within the mining and resources sector. She holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability Management and has built a multidisciplinary career spanning mineral processing operations, laboratory and pilot-scale studies, and data-driven environmental analysis.

Her professional interests lie in advancing the processing of recycled materials as a viable replacement for depleting primary raw materials, supporting circular economy principles within energy and industrial systems. Phuti is particularly interested in the role of critical minerals and Rare Earth Elements (REEs) in enabling the global energy transition, with a focus on responsible sourcing, beneficiation, and sustainable processing pathways. She is passionate about bridging technical processing expertise with ESG and sustainability frameworks to support resilient, future-ready energy systems.
