Rasha Ghanem serves as the Director of Public Affairs and Communications for Ford Middle East & North Africa, where she leads the strategic communications and governmental affairs for Ford and Lincoln brands throughout the MENA region. With an extensive professional background spanning over 20 years, Rasha brings unparalleled expertise across various industries, including automotive, retail, food and beverage, art and culture, and technology. In her role, Rasha is dedicated to upholding the principles of the Ford+ vision. She focuses on transforming automotive operations, cultivating a culture of innovation, and competing with a challenger mindset, all while ensuring that customers feel valued as family. Her multi-faceted approach embodies relentless excellence, unwavering focus, and collaborative spirit. Prior to her current position, Rasha held prominent roles such as the Ford Middle East Team Lead at a leading WPP agency. During this tenure, she spearheaded innovative campaigns like the award-winning ‘Welcome to the Driver Seat,’ recognizing the empowering moment of Saudi women driving, and the iconic unveiling of Ford’s Mustang on the Burj Khalifa in 2014. Rasha's depth of experience in the automotive industry is significant. She previously worked as the Products Communications Manager at General Motors (GM) Middle East Operations and served as Social Media Manager for GM in the Middle East. Her portfolio also includes managing Volvo as a Comms consultant. Currently a board member of the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) since January 2023, Rasha's professional accomplishments have been recognized by PR Week, naming her among the brightest and most influential PR professionals in the Middle East for 2023 and 2024. Outside her professional pursuits, Rasha enjoys quality time with her family, catching up with friends, traveling to new destinations, and exploring the latest trends on social media.
