With a remarkable journey spanning nearly 14 years, Pramukshi Kariyawasam is a seasoned marketing professional with experience in branding, marketing, public relations, and communications. Currently, she holds the title of Director of Marketing & Communications at Shangri-La Dubai. Prior to this, she held the role of Director of Brand Marketing & Partnerships, at Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts a premier hospitality brand based in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, as well as a group-level role at its parent company, as Assistant Vice President of the John Keells Group – one of Sri Lanka's largest and oldest conglomerates. Here, she was one of the youngest female Assistant Vice Presidents the conglomerate had seen in its 150-year existence. Across her career journey, Pramukshi has crafted comprehensive 360-degree campaigns spanning over 16 hospitality brands in Sri Lanka, Maldives and now, Dubai. Her achievements include the pre-opening and launches of numerous hotels, resorts and restaurants and she has also curated immersive brand-building events that have left an indelible mark on the brands she has handled. As a speaker and moderator, Pramukshi brings her wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion to the stage. She contributes inspiring insights and knowledge garnered from years of navigating the complex landscape of brand marketing, public relations, and communications across various markets. Beyond her professional endeavours, she is first and foremost a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and aunt. Her family holds an unparalleled place in her heart, and she would move mountains for the ones that she loves. She’s a relentless optimist, a dog lover, an energetic individual, and on a mission to spread inspiration wherever her path takes her.
