Hesham Almekkawi is a Food and Beverage industry expert with more than 28 years of experience in managing global and international chains of restaurants in the USA and the Middle East. He was appointed in 2021 as the CEO of AG Café International Management Company to spreadhead an aggressive growth plan for Tim Hortons in the Middle East. He is the founder and president of ATK Consulting in the United States and Ahramiz FZ LLC, a leadership development and management consulting company based in Dubai.   Prior to Tim Hortons, Hesham held several leadership positions for several conglomerate companies. He was the Vice President of Hospitality for Majid Al Futtaim Group and, the Chief Operating Officer for Kuwait Food Company (Americana) in UAE.   Prior moving to Dubai in 2008, Mr. Almekkawi was the Regional Director of Pizza Hut for the Mid-Atlantic Region in the United States where he spent 15 years with YUM! Brands.   Mr. Almekkawi holds EMBA from the Zicklin School of Business in New York. where he served afterword as an adjunct professor from 2003 to 2006 teaching service strategies and operations management.    Among his credentials, Mr. Almekkawi is a Certified International Life Coach, NLP Practitioner and Certified Public Speaker, Mentor and Coach by John Maxwell and the Author of “The 9 Traits of HERO Brands”. He was nominated as one of the 200 global influential leaders in 2023 by White Pages International and one of the revolutionary CEOs to watch in 2023 by CIOlook Magazine.
