Xi Liang is Head of AI at Mashreq, where she leads the bank’s AI strategy and transformation agenda, with a focus on Generative AI, agentic AI, and AI-powered banking experiences. She brings more than 15 years of experience across AI, data, digital transformation, and financial services. Previously, Xi held senior AI and data leadership roles in Australia and spent four years with McKinsey & Company, advising organisations on AI and advanced analytics. She holds a PhD in Machine Learning, has four AI patents and more than 10 academic publications, and is passionate about turning AI innovation into meaningful business and customer impact.
