Antony Burrows is Head of Open & Embedded Finance and Innovation at Rakbank, where he leads Open Finance and wider initiatives readying Rakbank for the next era of connected banking. Prior to this he led Rakbank's digital transformation with oversight of AI, Innovation, UI/UX, EPMO and Agile. Before moving to the UAE, Antony was Head of Group Innovation at National Australia Bank and a partner at the bank's Corporate Venture Capital function: NAB Ventures. He started his career building and scaling startups. Antony sits on the UAE Banks Federation's digital banking committee and is based in Dubai with his family.
