Ali Nanji has spent close to two decades building payments and digital banking businesses across the Middle East and Africa. As Managing Director, Commercial & Growth for GCC at BPC Banking Technologies, he leads the firm's enterprise business across the region, bringing a platform that serves over 500 customers in more than 140 countries to a region rethinking its payments infrastructure. His mandate sits in the layer most GCC institutions are now confronting: the issuing, acquiring, switching and fraud management systems that have quietly aged out beneath modern front ends. Before BPC, Ali has held leadership roles at Backbase, Microsoft, Accenture and London Stock Exchange Group. A member of the Forbes Finance Council, he writes on digital maturity and the consolidation reshaping fintech infrastructure, he is a frequent commentator on what separates banks that modernise successfully from those that simply re-platform.
