Nolwazi Hlophe is a Senior Fintech Specialist with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) of South Africa who specializes in financial regulation and innovation topics such as artificial intelligence, open finance, decentralized finance, and crypto assets. She previously was a Deputy Director with Digital Frontiers, where she led the development of the Digital Financial Inclusion Supervision (DFIS) Program, which was developed in collaboration with Toronto Centre and CGAP. She has been listed amongst the 60 African Women Experts in Fintech 2022 by African Shapers. Nolwazi has solid years of experience and many projects on her belt, she has been published in the Digital Banker Africa, Central Bank Payments News and RegTech Africa. Nolwazi has also been a speaker in numerous conferences, speaking on topics, which include financial inclusion, regulation of emerging business models through innovation in the financial sector, blockchain and digital currencies.
