Ryan Watson Consulting offers consulting services to help organizations make better use of the so-called big data which is increasingly available to support decision making in multiple fields of industry and government. Some of this data comes from wireless sensor networks or Internet of Things systems and much of it relates to locations on the earth’s surface, termed geospatial data. This discipline is termed geospatial data analytics and includes various techniques of data science including machine learning. Since its inception the company has sponsored student projects and trained interns in these fields.
