Jon Honig is the Vice President of Pratt Miller Mobility, a role in which he brings more than 30 years of experience in vehicle and technology development to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering cutting-edge engineering and vehicle solutions to the commercial market. His leadership spans electrification, autonomy, high-performance systems, and connected technologies, positioning Pratt Miller at the forefront of mobility innovation. As the executive champion for Pratt Miller’s Autonomy Technical Road Map and resource management initiatives, Jon plays a key role in shaping the strategic direction of autonomy efforts across the organization. Under his leadership, Pratt Miller Mobility supports customers in the automotive, commercial truck, and off-highway industries with end-to-end capabilities in advanced vehicle design, engineering, prototyping, and low-rate manufacturing—leveraging a legacy of excellence rooted in competitive motorsports. Since joining Pratt Miller in 2015, Jon has held leadership roles in Electronics and Controls, growing capabilities in electronic systems, embedded software and autonomy. His team has supported critical programs across the Defense, Mobility, and Motorsports sectors, contributing to Pratt Miller’s growth and technical excellence. Prior to Pratt Miller, Jon held engineering and leadership roles at Meritor and Ford Motor Company, focusing on mechatronics, advanced chassis and drivetrain systems, and early electric vehicle development. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Management and is an inventor with several patents in autonomy, electronic systems, and ride control technologies.
