Dave Rubin is Head of Policy at Proterra, a leading U.S. manufacturer of heavy-duty EV batteries for commercial and off-highway applications. He has over a decade of experience in public policy, government affairs, and political risk analysis. Before Proterra, Dave led policy research at Cruise, collaborating with policymakers on electric and autonomous vehicle technology. He previously spent six years at The Asia Group, advising U.S. firms on complex regulatory and policy challenges in the Indo-Pacific. Dave holds an MA in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a BA from American University. He serves on the board of the nonprofit Charge Across Town, and lives in San Francisco with his wife Zoe and their dog Bella.
