Amber Woodward, Public Affairs, Centre for Net Zero

Amber Woodward is International Public Affairs Manager at Centre for Net Zero, a not-for-profit research institute forecasting the future of energy demand. Centre for Net Zero was founded by the Octopus Energy Group, though operates autonomously. Amber gets the Centre’s research into the hands of influential global stakeholders, driving bolder policy-making, and an accelerated energy transition. Amber has previously worked for the UK government in various strategy and policy roles, straddling both domestic and international spheres - most recently advising ministers on the UK's decarbonisation, energy and environment plans and delivery in the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero and No.10. She holds a degree from the University of Bristol.
