Matthew Partridge, Senior Enterprise Fellow & Director of Outreach, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, University of Southampton

Matthew Partridge is a Senior Enterprise Fellow (PSDI) within the School of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering at the University of Southampton, specialising in all things Physical Chemistry Data related. He leads the development of the Physical Chemistry Properties Data Collection and has recently completed a trial of a School wide Electronic Lab Notebook which is now being rolled out. Matthew is also the School's director of outreach and is keen to promote better understanding of Chemistry both to the public and to those in related fields. Beyond his institutional role, Matthew is the author and cartoonist behind ErrantScience, a long‑running science communication platform that brings clarity and humour to everyday research practice. He is a frequent contributor to events and workshops on collaboration, knowledge exchange, and communicating science.
