Laurent is responsible for Visa at Europe level for developing opportunities in the innovative field of Digital Identity in relation to card and non-card payments. Specifically, Laurent is leading Visa engagement with the European Commission Large-Scale Pilots to ensure that the upcoming EU Digital Identity Wallets can support payment in a secure and seamless way. Prior to that role, Laurent was in charge of Open Banking product strategy for Europe, and of the adoption of Visa’s digital and risk products across France and Belux. Before Visa, Laurent has developed an extensive experience in payment industry acquired in various roles within Banks (BPCE), Fintechs (Buyster) and Acquirers (Worldline) Laurent is graduated in both Computer Science (Polytech’Lille) and Marketing & business development (ESSEC, Paris)
