Alexandra Saraiva is a document expert at the Portuguese Judiciary Police, where she carries out forensic examination of a wide range of documents and supports national efforts to strengthen document security. She participates in several international projects and working groups dedicated to combating document fraud and improving the reliability of identification systems. She is also part of the Judiciary Police team providing technical consultancy for the development and introduction of the latest model of the Portuguese passport, currently underway. In addition to her forensic duties, she contributes to the national training framework by delivering courses on document fraud to both police and civilian entities.
Before joining the Judiciary Police, she served for six years in the Portuguese Army as a psychologist supporting National Detached Forces, an experience that reflects a long-standing commitment to national security and defence-related matters.
