Infrafon invented a SmartBadge System for Identity and Access in large organizations like hospitals, defence or Fortune 500 corporations. The SmartBadge CC1 SEC edition can replace a Smartphone. It features a biometric Fingerprint reader, a Touch Display to enter PIN and an epaper display to show a ID photo at high resolution. The Smart Badge can do MFA, has a JavaCard 4.5 Secure element and can run various NXP or further 3rd Party security applets. Examples FIDO 2.1, HID SEOS, LEGIC NEON, Mifare DESFire, eIDAS, crypto currency and is prepared for being used as a Hardware EUDI Wallet. The device´s specialty: An additional SIM card can be used for a second SE or other crypto function. Infrafon SmartBadge is centrally managed over IES platform (onprem or Cloud) and is ideal for being used in regulated governement or KRITIS use like for instance German gematik ehealth TI2.0 ZeroTrust environment to create comfort for doctors and health staff members. The device family can further be used as a messaging and alerting device integrated in MATRIX or other messenger architecture like Bundesmessenger, TI 2.0 messenger or Netsfere and others. Also, the device supports various RTLS such as BLE, GPS or UWB. Infrafon SmartBadge use can be beneficial when integrated in intelligent and AI driven secure work management and micro process management systems.
