Inertia Consulting is a Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy specialising in the inspection, investigation, non-destructive testing, design and capacity assessment of bridges and civil engineering structures.

From our offices across the UK we undertake over 4000 general, principal and special inspections per year managing all aspects of planning, access, inspection and reporting in house. Our NDT teams are experienced in both traditional and advanced NDT techniques including GPR, Pulse Echo, PTSI's and Acoustic Emissions to provide meaningful data and data interpretation to inform clients on structure condition, capacity and durability.

Our designers undertake permanent works design, temporary works design, capacity assessment and strengthening design for structures ranging from large multi-span rail and road bridges to complex and simple footbridges, culverts and retaining walls.
