What access does my pass allow me to have?

Your free exhibition and conference pass gives you full access to the conference and exhibition for all both days

You will need to pay for a seat/table for the awards ceremony

Day 1:

Day 2:
Thursday
19th October 2023 - 09:00 - 16:00 (last entrance 15:30)
Having trouble registering?

Ensure you are using a unique email address which hasn't been used to register already

Speakers should already be automatically registered by a Highways UK team member

The registration process should only take a couple minutes, if you have a large team then we strongly advise you forwarding them the link to register themselves
Where do I get my badge to enter the show?
Your badge will be emailed to you. Please print this out and bring the A4 print out to the show. We are expecting over 10,000 attendees, so please print out your badge to avoid long wait times to get into the show.
Exhibitors badge collection
Sponsors and exhibitors will also recieve their badge to print out prior to the show. We strongly advise everyone to print their badges and bring to the event.
If you are unable to, then please ask one of our colleagues to print out your badge on Tuesday 17th October during build day between 14:00 - 18:00.
What is Swapcard?
Swapcard is our official event platform app.
It will turn live September 4th for exhibitors and 4th October for all other attendees.
You will be emailed your login details. If you are having trouble logging in, please click here.
Once you have received your details, you must download the app and login as you will need it for several reasons:

As there will be no paper agendas at the event, you can view it on the app; build your own personalised agenda by marking the sessions you are interested in. Please note, you cannot attend the event or dial into any sessions virtually through the app. You will need to attend the event physically to participate in sessions.

How do I get there?
Car
Located bang in the middle of the UK’s motorway network, jumping in the car is the ideal way to get to the NEC. You'll find the venue clearly signposted from all motorways and major routes including the M42, M40 and M6.
With over 16,500 spaces available you won’t need to search for a spot.
Train
Getting there by train is brilliantly easy as the NEC is located a five-minute walk away from Birmingham International Railway Station.
Plane
Birmingham Airport is literally on the doorstep of The NEC, making it easy for international visitors.
Bus and Coach
Over 120 National Express and Megabus coach services run daily across the UK to Birmingham Airport.

Will there be security at the event?
We take the safety of our visitors very seriously and there will be security present at many points at the venue. You must always have a badge on you to be at the event.
Is there a dress code?
Our attendees typically dress in business attire at our events.
Will there be food?
There will be a café at the show serving food and beverages. The NEC also hosts a number restaurants and cafes where food and drinks can be purchased.
Is there WiFi at the venue?
Yes, The NEC provides free WiFi to all attendees.
