Julie Jupp, Associate Professor, Digital Engineering, University of Technology Sydney

Associate Professor Julie Jupp is a leading expert in Digital Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), where she serves as the Deputy Director of Teaching and Learning Engagement in the Faculty of Engineering and IT. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on the digitalisation of infrastructure and building facilities, with a particular emphasis on Building Information Modelling (BIM), Model-based Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Digital Transformation. Julie holds a PhD in Architecture (Design Computing) from the University of Sydney and completed her postdoctoral studies at the University of Cambridge’s Engineering Design Centre. Beyond academia, Julie serves on the Board of Directors of buildingSMART Australasia and Women in BIM. She is dedicated to advancing through-life data and information management in the built environment. ​
