Theo Parkes is the project lead for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (EVI) at Nottinghamshire County Council, specialising in developing complex EVI programmes and award-winning EVI strategies. Alongside his work on a wide range of electrification programmes, Theo has championed innovative engagement approaches to enhance community involvement and support the successful rollout of EV infrastructure. At EVCharge Live UK 2026, Theo will share insights into how Virtual Reality can be used to engage communities and bring future electric vehicle-enabled streetscapes to life. The presentation will draw on Nottinghamshire County Council’s collaboration with Mesh Training, showcasing the development of immersive environments and highlighting key outcomes, lessons learned, and practical applications for wider EVI deployment.
