Founded in December 2018, Entrust Microgrid has secured over £10 million grants/funds, contracts and investments and has been pioneering smart microgrid technologies, focusing on the development of smart hybrid DC- and AC-networked microgrids and associated ecosystems for homes, businesses and communities, including

1)           EnSmartEMS – Entrust Smart Energy Management System, serving homes and businesses for minimising energy bills.

EnSmartEMS includes EnSmartCTR (microgrid controller with in-situ EMS) installed at consumers premises, EnSmartCloud (cloud EMS) and consumers EnSmartAPP (consumer’s smartphone App).

EnSmartCloud is designed to perform aggregated grid balancing (DSR/DFS) services.

EnSmartEMS is available for large-scale consumers trial through business model of consumers’ subscription, aiming for saving consumers 30% energy bills.

2)           EnSmartHome – Entrust Smart Home Microgrid (smart hybrid DC- and AC-networked microgrid for residential properties) with EnSmartEMS-Home, solar PV and battery storage, and optional EV charger and heat pump.

Specifically, in partnership with Green Energy Distribution Ltd, we offer EnSmartHome with EnSmartEMS-Home, aesthetic solar photovoltaic roof tiles for new and re-roofing properties, battery storage, hybrid inverter, optional EnSmartV2H home EV charger (5kW DC/DC V2H/V2G charger) or home AC charger (7.2kW/32A single-phase), and optional heat pump.

EnSmartHome is available for large-scale consumers trial and commercial installations through partners, including property developers and construction companies (for new properties), housing associations and groups and councils (for new properties, re-roofing and retrofitting), re-roofing companies and sole traders, and LCT project developers and installers (retrofitting).

EnSmartHome with EnSmartEMS-Home subscription aims to realise net zero properties.

3)           EnSmartCES – Entrust Smart Community Energy System with EnSmartEMS serving consumers (homes and businesses) in the community and EnSmartCloud serving consumers; CES Operators performing smart community energy management, community/independent electricity supply, aggregated P2P and grid balancing services; and network operators performing distribution network monitoring services.

4)           EnSmartBuild – Entrust Smart Microgrid with EnSmartEMS for C&I applications, with solar PV/BIPV and BESS, optional EV charging and heat pumping and water pumping systems.

EnSmartBuild is available for commercial installations with our bespoke professional design services through LCT project developers and installation partners.

EnSmartBuild with EnSmartEMS aims to realise net zero buildings.

5)           EnSmartEV – Entrust Smart DC/DC EV charging system/hub embedded in EnSmartBuild, serving major transportation hubs, fleet operation centres, businesses and communities, etc., EV charging power from 30kW to 360kW.

EnSmartEV is available for demonstration trial installations with our bespoke professional design services through EV charging network operation partners.

EnSmartEV aims to significantly reduce rapid EV charging grid connection requirement, to enable faster and more efficient grid connection.
