Somesh holds about 16 years of working experience in the Solar Energy Sector. He has gathered a deep understanding of Solar PV technology having worked in all types of technologies (ground mounted, tracking system, Canal-top, Rooftop). With the idea that the “Sun is the only Truth”, he has been dedicated to working within the complete Solar PV Power project development cycle. His career path started with working in a Solar Thin Film module manufacturing facility and then moving to a Solar PV plant design engineering and the technical consulting services. He also served at a Project management office for 2 years in the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy of Govt. of India. His areas of work mainly are design and engineering, PV Technology assessment, Floating Solar PV, PV-BESS Hybrid projects, Energy Yield Assessment, Feasibility Studies, Due- Diligence Studies, Lender's technical advisor, Construction Monitoring, Compliance Assessment, tender specifications etc. Seeking exposure to different scenarios of working within this sector, he has worked and traveled to different places namely, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Chile, Iran, Bangladesh and different parts of India. He has coordinated with different teams and groups of experts during his various assignments.
