Naebboon Hoonchareon received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Chulalongkorn University in 1993, the MSEE and Ph.D. degrees from Purdue University in 1996 and 2000, respectively. He has joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University since 2002, and currently, head of the Smart Grid Research Unit. His research interests are in power system dynamics and control, solar power forecast and applications, and energy management systems in Smart Grid.
