Yael is a senior trade and investment lawyer with a special interest in Foreign Direct Investments, Africa-related investment, investment promotion, supply chains, country risk and the AfCFTA. She has over 25 years of experience in the legal and financial services sectors across Africa, the Netherlands and broader Europe and Asia in a variety of roles including private equity and investment banking (having spent 14 years living and working in the Netherlands). Yael is the ESG Champion for the Infrastructure and Transport sector at Webber Wentzel. She has also written articles and spoken on ESG and the Africa Continental free Trade Agreement. She has extensive experience (over a decade) across the African continent in various sectors. Yael has an MBA in General Management from Nyenrode University, Netherlands. Yael speaks English, Dutch and French. Yael has close relationships with Africa law firms and law firms across the Middle East including Linklaters and Al Tamimi. Having spent over 15 years working for both Webber Wentzel in managing alliances and previously for Linklaters in Europe.
