Tenele Ndlovu is an MSc in Environmental Sciences candidate with the University of South Africa focusing on the evaluation of the implementation of the National climate change response white paper’s environmental health actions in the Gert Sibande District Municipality. Tenele holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Science Honours in Environmental Management. Tenele serves as a Project Officer for Zero Emission Buses for the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI e-bus Mission) and the Zero Emission Bus Rapid-deployment Accelerator (ZEBRA) Partnership expansion to Africa. In this capacity, she is instrumental in supporting the delivery and implementation of the Zero-Emission Buses programme, contributing to the global transition to zero-emission buses in various C40 cities. Tenele’s experience stems from an early career with the National Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment under the International Climate Change Relations and Reporting to the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH South Africa (Climate Cluster).
