Megan Taylor is a seasoned energy and climate transitions leader with over 15 years of experience advancing sustainable development across the United States and sub-Saharan Africa. Based in Stellenbosch, South Africa, she currently works with GOGLA, supporting the growth and coordination of the off-grid energy ecosystem. From 2015 to 2025, Megan served with the USAID Power Africa initiative, where she held multiple senior roles including Interagency Team Lead, Partnerships Advisor, and Energy Transition Advisor. In these capacities, she built and managed high-level partnerships across governments, development finance institutions, multilateral banks, and the private sector to address the energy trilemma and expand electricity access across the continent. A graduate of The George Washington University, Megan is recognized for her strategic partnership expertise, deep regional networks, and commitment to enabling inclusive, resilient energy systems that drive economic growth and climate impact in Africa.
