Metin Yılmaz has more than 20 years of experience investment banking and private equity in Turkey. He has experience in IPOs, JVs, privatisations and M&As. He served as board members in public and non-public companies in Turkey and USA. He joined MEF University four years ago.

MEF is an innovative higher education institution with a reputation in the quality of its education and R&D activities. Since then he is a part-time lecturer with a focus on courses on startups, innovation and entrepreneurship. He also assumed the role of the CFO of the University since 2019. Metin Yılmaz has a PhD in banking and finance from Kadir Has University in Istanbul and MA in Finance from University of Newcastle upon Tyne in UK.
