Maaike van Buul is Manager Business Development at the TU Delft Extension School for Continuing Education. TU Delft is the Netherlands' oldest and largest technical university. It has adopted Lifelong Learning as a core educational task, underpinned by a dedicated strategy. The primary objective is to align with societal demands and provide education that complements TU Delft’s research and academic offerings. Individual faculties design continuing education programs that reflect their areas of expertise. While aspects such as promotion, learner support and quality assurance are centrally managed by the Extension School. Maaike, as the leader of the Business team, actively participates in the implementation of this strategy, working in collaboration with various faculties. Maaike has over 15 years of experience in product development and leading units for professional education and training services, both in the private sector and in institutions of higher education. She holds a master's degree in business studies.
