Technological University Dublin

I established a design business in the mid 1980s and served on the boards of key industry representative bodies. Moving into higher education I was appointed Head of Art & Design at Dublin Institute of Technology in 1998 and served as Director & Dean, College of Arts and Tourism from 2012 to 2021.

As a member of the leadership team in the application for university designation I influenced the emergence of Technological University Dublin in 2019. 

In 2014 I brought the first 1,200 students and staff to a newly developed campus in the city and then led the migration of the College of Arts and Tourism to the a purpose built arts centre, the East Quad in 2021.

My current role is Strategic Lead (European University) in which I lead TU Dublin's participation in the European University of Technology Eut+, a partnership of nine universities across the European Union.
