James Haworth, Head of Digital Learning, International Education Partnership

James has been a teacher and speaker for 15 years, working in various countries and curriculums. He started his career as a language teacher before moving into primary education and later educational technology. He is passionate about minimising screentime while maximising technology's impact. Makers Ed and hands-on digital learning are areas where he has many years of implementation experience, having worked across the multi-school foundation in Hong Kong where he worked. In 2022, he completed a Master's degree in Educational Technology, enabling an in-depth exploration of machine learning, AI, information literacy, media literacy, and their classroom applications. His thesis focused on the capacities teachers need to be digital learners and leaders in today's rapidly evolving digital and educational landscapes. He now leads digital implementation across 7 international schools in Spain. He loves his job as he is always learning.
