George Rouvas, Computer Science Teacher and Senior Instructional Technology Consultant, Anatolia College and Member, EASE - European Association of STEAM Educators, Greece

George Rouvas is the Senior Instructional Technology Consultant and  a Computer Science teacher at Anatolia College. He holds a BA in Management from the University of Sheffield, a BSc in Computer Science from the Hellenic Open University and an MSc in Information Systems from the University of Sheffield. He is currently enrolled in the “Education Sciences: Teaching Methods and Learning Processes” postgraduate programme of the School of Primary Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Mr. Rouvas has participated in numerous research projects, both EU (ERASMUS+) and nationally (Hellenic Foundation for Research & Innovation) funded, and has worked with University Departments, local educational authorities, NGOs and Local Government Development Organizations in projects that involve the design and development of digital educational games, applications and platforms. Mr. Rouvas has a number of publications and scientific conference presentations in areas of pedagogical interest like the use of creative writing and ICTs in education, game-based learning and STEM education, topics for which he has designed and administered training seminars to secondary education teachers in the past.
