Faye Kafetzopoulou, Head of Department, Athens College Elementary School

Faye Kafetzopoulou brings over 25 years of teaching experience in Greece and the UK to her role as an IB PYP English language teacher at Athens College Elementary School, where she currently serves as Head of the English Department. Faye holds an MA in Media and Communications from the University of London, Goldsmiths College, and a BA in English and Greek Language and Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Committed to ongoing professional development, she has completed postgraduate courses on Leading Inquiry Based Development from the University of Cambridge and on Differentiating Instruction, with a focus on Strategies for Teaching English Language Learners, from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. A lifelong learner dedicated to enhancing her teaching skills, Faye's passion lies in the intersection of New Technologies and Sustainability.
