Prof. Eliza Stefanova, President of the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency, Bulgaria. She is professor in Computer Sciences at Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Bulgaria. Previous eight years she was Vice-rector of Information Activities and Academic Staff of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. As vice-rector prof. Stefanova led the University policy for design, development and implementation of contemporary information systems, supporting research and education. She specialised in Educational Technologies, Big data and Learning Analytics, Virtual Realities Technologies. Prof. Stefanova has strong background in Technology Enhanced Learning, Knowledge-based repositories, Development Platforms for Software and Services, Semantic Based Knowledge Systems, Computer Networks, e-Learning. Prof. Stefanova has long experience gained by participation in more than 20 EC RTD projects as coordinator and WP leader (e.g. eLITE, weSPOT, Share.TEC, TENCompetence, I*Teach, etc.). She participated as expert in EU network alliance project T4ERI, coordinated the University strategic program project SUMMIT, led the largest national project for the development of joint universities programs MODERN-A. As a president of the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency prof. Stefanova introduces new criterion system based on qualitative and quantitative indicators and large amount of data.
