Andrea Zanella (S’98–M’01–SM’13 Senior Member,IEEE) is a Full Professor at the Department of Information Engineering (DEI), University of Padova, Italy. His long-established research activities include protocol design, optimization, and performance evaluation of wired and wireless networks. Since 2021, he has been Vice-Rector for Information and Communication Technologies at the University of Padova.
