The Dutch Edtech Foundation founded by EdTech entrepreneurs and aims to accelerate innovation and collaboration within the learning sector by connecting the community, sharing best practices, creating an overview of the landscape, and forming consortia to tackle current challenges in the Netherlands.

These challenges include the enormous labour shortage and the need for increased diversity in education, which the edtech sector can help address by facilitating easier reskilling of workers. 

By bringing together the fragmented learning sector, the foundation seeks to create a more cohesive ecosystem that can effectively address important social issues such as inequality and the teacher shortage. The foundation operates from a market perspective, aiming to stimulate innovation and progress within the learning sector.
