Esports refers to organized, competitive gaming where players or teams compete against each other in various video games.
Since November 2023, the Dutch Esports Association has been unanimously admitted as an Associate Member of NOC*NSF. A step towards BEN’s objective: “The Netherlands to become one of the best esports countries in the world."

Sinds november 2023 is Branchevereniging Esports Nederland (BEN) unaniem toegelaten als geassocieerde bij NOC*NSF. Een stap in de richting van BEN’s doelstelling “Nederland tot de beste esportslanden ter wereld laten behoren.”
