The Association for Teacher Education in Europe (ATEE), aims to enhance the quality of Teacher Education in Europe through active dialogue and international exchange of research and practice in initial and in-service teacher education. The ATEE is constituted by 145 individual members and 45 institutional members who span 43 countries around the world, all working both within and outside higher education. The Association brings its members together through 14 different Research and Development Communities, and at its three annual conferences (Annual, Winter and Spring conferences). The R&D Communities are the heart of the association where teacher educators from all over Europe and beyond meet, exchange and co-operate.
