Hakimah has been with the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) since 2014 and is currently a Senior Educational Therapist with over a decade of experience delivering targeted literacy intervention under the Main Literacy Programme (MLP). She specialises in supporting students with dyslexia and other specific learning differences, drawing on structured, evidence-based approaches to build literacy, confidence, and independence. Beyond the classroom, Hakimah serves as an EdTech Facilitator on the DAS EdTech Team, where she drives initiatives that integrate technology into teaching and learning in purposeful and accessible ways. Her work focuses on enhancing student engagement, supporting inclusive practices, and equipping Educational Therapists with practical strategies to leverage AI and digital tools effectively. Hakimah is passionate about bridging pedagogy and technology, ensuring that innovation remains grounded in sound instructional practice to create meaningful impact for both educators and learners.
