Dr Laura Twyman is a Program Lead and behavioural scientist with more than 14 years’ experience applying behavioural science to complex public health challenges. She currently leads tobacco and vaping cessation initiatives within the Tobacco Control Unit at Cancer Council NSW, where she works with multidisciplinary teams and partners to deliver evidence‑based programs at organisational and system levels. After completing a PhD in Behavioural Science, Dr Twyman has built a career at the intersection of public health policy, implementation science, and real‑world service delivery, with a strong focus on reducing health‑related inequities in Australia. Dr Twyman is particularly passionate about optimising the delivery of health and community services through organisational change, enhancing workforce capability, and digital health innovation. Her work translates behavioural theory into scalable, co-designed initiatives that support both providers and the communities they serve.
