Dr Diana Siew works across research, healthcare, industry, investment and government to build a pipeline of MedTech ventures and translate science into clinical and commercial outcomes. She focuses on creating connected pathways that move ideas from discovery through validation to global markets. She co-leads New Zealand’s MedTech Research Translator, chairs Medtech-iQ Aotearoa (the country’s MedTech innovation hub), and co-founded the Consortium for Medical Device Technologies. These platforms connect universities, the health system, companies and investors, supporting a coordinated national pipeline for MedTech development and early-stage ventures. Diana serves on the Return on Science Medtech & Surgery Investment Committee and the University of Sydney Biomanufacturing Incubator Advisory Board. She previously served on the boards of PHARMAC and Creative HQ. She is Strategic Partnerships Lead at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, University of Auckland.
