Jean-Baptiste Milan is currently in charge of goID™, the Government mobile identity offer of HID. He has over 12 years of experience in the Government identity sector and has been previously in charge of the electronic Passport product line of Arjosystems (since then acquired by HID).
He has a worldwide role for nearly a decade and as such he has been able to have first-hand Voice of the Market meetings with government officials and partners in all regions: Asia, Africa, Europe, Middle East, Latin America and North America. He was based in Asia from 2006 till 2016 and in Europe from 2016 till 2019.
He is now relocated to Florida, where the newly acquired team of Crossmatch is adding best in class biometrics to goID. Jean-Baptiste is also involved in standardization related to mobile identity, especially in the SC17 of ISO, working on ISO18013-5 (mDL) and the Digital Travel Credential. He is also member of STA and Chair of the mobility group of IBIA.
