Bree Tanner is a strategic aviation leader with more than 15 years of experience across airlines, airports, and professional services. She currently serves as Senior Manager, Aviation Services at Melbourne Airport, where she partners with airlines to shape and agree on the airport’s future infrastructure needs — ensuring development outcomes that balance operational efficiency, commercial sustainability, and passenger growth. Before joining Melbourne Airport, Bree spent over eight years with Virgin Australia, where she held senior roles spanning Strategy, Business Transformation, and Commercial Planning, including as Head of Business Transformation for Tigerair Australia. Her work across airline strategy and transformation gave her a deep understanding of the commercial and operational levers that drive airline performance. Having worked on both sides of the industry, Bree brings a rare perspective that bridges the priorities of airlines and airports. She is known for her ability to navigate competing interests, influence outcomes, and deliver infrastructure solutions that create shared value and long-term growth for all stakeholders. Bree also currently Co-chairs the Women at APAC committee for Melbourne and Launceston Airports and is committed to advancing its purpose to empower women and create connections through advocacy, education, and inclusive change for all.
