Pradeep Kumar is a  seasoned Civil Engineer with over 22 years of experience in metro and railway infrastructure, he currently serves as Chief Engineer (Coordination, Planning & Design) at Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited. He leads the planning and design of viaducts, tunnels, stations, and depots, overseeing the full cycle from concept and architectural planning to detailed structural design. He holds an M.Tech in Construction Management from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, and postgraduate qualifications in Data Science & Business Analytics, and Public Policy & Management from leading global institutions including Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Prior to BMRCL, he held multiple senior roles at Indian Railways across both construction projects and operations & maintenance. His experience includes commissioning new lines and doubling projects, DPR preparation, tendering, project execution, and asset maintenance planning. His work reflects a strong blend of engineering expertise, project delivery, and strategic planning in large-scale rail infrastructure.
