Jean-François BERNARD is a railway engineer with 19 years of experience in rolling stock projects and maintenance engineering. He currently serves as the Head of Engineering Management at RATP Dev APAC (RDAP) in Singapore. In this role, he leads the development of digital solutions and operates the Condition Monitoring System for the Jurong Region Line project. He leverages advanced data analytics to monitor engineering alerts and provide critical guidance to the Operation Control Center during incidents.
Previously, Jean-François was Head of Electrical Engineering at RATP Group in Paris, where he oversaw new train acquisitions and design. His extensive career also includes a decade at SNCF Group in France, where he managed high-speed rail maintenance, renovations, and mid-life operations. Also recognized as an expert in on-board traction transformers, he holds two Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Advanced Industrial Maintenance.
