Fire Testing Lab Manager, Advanced Construction Technology Services (ACTS) Dr. Hamada Shoukry is an experienced fire testing and materials performance specialist with a strong background in research, laboratory leadership, and accreditation. He currently serves as Fire Testing Lab Manager at ACTS, where he oversees advanced testing programs, quality systems, and the evaluation of fire-resistant materials used across major construction and infrastructure projects in the Gulf. Before joining ACTS, he spent more than a decade at the Housing & Building National Research Center in Egypt, progressing from Research Assistant to Assistant Professor and contributing to national studies on building materials, safety standards, and structural performance. His career also includes research roles at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman and academic appointments at King Khalid University. Hamada is also a trained Technical Laboratory Assessor with the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC), giving him deep insight into ISO-aligned quality systems and the accreditation requirements that ensure laboratory integrity and compliance. His work brings together science, safety, and applied research to support stronger, safer, and more resilient built environments across the region.
